New turbochargers, intercoolers and a cold air intake are used to deliver a lot more pressure. The digital boost gauge briefly hits 5.0 bar, or 5 times atmospheric pressure at sea level. A quick conversion equates to 72.5 pounds of boost pressure. This is insanity. How the cylinder heads stay on the block is anyone’s guess, because boost at this level can shatter pistons.
